2010 Renault Kangoo Passenger 1.6 petrol from Australia and New Zealand

Summary:

Great practical Swiss army knife passenger van

Faults:

CV boots...

General Comments:

Actually really reliable. Bought with higher mileage, but had a new clutch by the previous owner. Brake pads done as well and cam belt in another 30,000km.

Drives like a van not a car, but that's to be expected. Acceleration is adequate rather than rapid, but ride quality and general refinement is very good. Quiet on the road.

Quite economical and the motor doesn't use or leak a drop of oil. Oil is as clean as new when time to change, so it's been serviced obviously and in excellent condition.

Gear change is good and long distance is no problem. Cruises well at 110 km per hour. Quite happy with it actually, and whilst not in love with it, I cannot part with it, as it's just so god damn versatile and practical that I know that as soon as I let it go, then I will regret it.

2010 Renault Kangoo 16v Wheelchair Accessible 1.6 diesel from UK and Ireland

Summary:

Great vehicle for wheelchair access

Faults:

Overall there are no faults.

Steering wheel marked slightly.

Door handles wear on rear sliding door.

Normal use.

General Comments:

I'm concentrating on why I think this vehicle is fantastic for wheelchair access - it's not easy looking for a wheelchair accessible vehicle, and a Renault Kangoo provides a great option.

3 seats plus a wheelchair.

Manual or electric lift can be installed.

Not too big or 'van like'. Easy to park and drive in general.
