Taken January 2005 from London, England (Heathrow Airport) - LHR to Doha - DOH

I purchased a business class ticket for a flight from Heathrow to Doha in June 2004. The flight was cancelled at the last moment.

All other business class passengers were transfered to other flighs I was refused.

It transpired that a business class ticket bought in good faith (at a reduced rate through a travel agent)does not mean what it says. I was informed by the airline all this ticket allowed me to do was to use the business class section of the aircraft all other conditions were as per economy.

So beware when purchasing business class tickets, there are draconian conditions attached.
