Home > Jetsgo > 2004 > ReviewTaken December 2004 from Toronto, ON (Lester B. Pearson International Airport) - YYZ to Winnipeg, MB (Winnipeg International Airport) - YWGOn Dec 23/04 I flew with my best friend to visit our parents for Christmas. Our flight was delayed by 5 hours due to the extreme weather conditions. Fair enough. When we arrived 5 hours later (my parents live 5 hours away from Winnipeg and we arrived at 7 so it was a long trip back) I got my luggage only to find that one of the rollers had been taken completely off! I went to the desk to find a sign that states that they are not responsible for the following... baggage damage! As it was a 5 hour drive home we departed. Later I found that their website states that damage "be reported in person to a Jets go airport counter agent within 24 hours of arrival at your destination." What? I thought that you weren't responsible. This is not the only inconsistency in the rules that my friend and I found (I will leave it at that). Since then I have tried to get an answer (and get my luggage repaired since I don't understand how they are not responsible for the damage when it was in perfect condition when I gave it to them.) Hopefully this gets resolved sooner than later. | ||
