Taken January 2005 from Wien (Vienna) (Schwechat) - VIE to Amsterdam (Schiphol) - AMS

I selected yes to the question would you fly this airline again because I still have a free flight with them. This flight was also made with there miles and more program with justed to be good, but the cutbacks are making it very difficult to collect a free flight with them.

But to my flight; my first flight was canceled so they booked my one the next flight with would leave 6 hours later. Got a food voucher and no apology. Flight was canceld because there was no aircraft (it had broken down). Well rather no flight than a bad airplane. But Vienna airport isn't that big so in 5-6 hours you"ll be bored to dead.

The flight to Amsterdam later that day was fully booked and the seats were pretty cramed (no business section) Food had to be bought (water was free) With I don't think is fair. Austrian isn't a cheap airline (cheapest price to Amsterdam is 260 euro including tax.) They chanced there policy about food since my last fligt to Amsterdam in january. This in combination with high prices and a miles program that isn't worth it made me dicide that I would give up being a regular custumer and from now on would be flight the cheapest airline (and austrian is"t the cheapest so I'll never be flighing with them again).

They justed to be a very good airline and on long haule flight they still are. But cut-backs and service deteroration made them to be a normal airline that is not standing out. I would say that if you get a good price fligh them find something cheaper fly on other airline.
