Taken February 2005 from Nice (Cote d'Azur) - NCE to Newcastle - NCL

There were zero queues for check-in at terninal 2 in NCE (evening departure)

Flight was on board a 737-800, as most NCL based Easy Jet services are. This is was a new aircraft and felt very stable.

The Captain gave excellent commentary on progress.

The most remarkably refreshing thing about this flight was that the Captain actually spoke in a slight regional accent! (Geordie, ie from Newcastle)

As anybody who has flown regularly on fully UK based flights <any airline> will tell you, there is a standard accent to be observed by pilots (no matter where they come from) and it is very much in line with that portrayed by black and white WW2 flicks. (mostly involving the 'spitfire' aircrat and the Royal Air Service)

This didn't happen here... *remarkable*!!!:)

Also, since the flight was scheduled as two two hours (plus) there was an extra driks (bye-able) service.

The flight left airbridge stand on time and arrived at (NCL) about 10 minues early.

...Also, anybody considering using this route should know that the terminal Easyjet use from (NCE) is fantastic!

Terminal 2 is brand new. You can take a trip up from the check in area (esculator) and arrive in a restaurant/bar area which overlooks the whole airfield, (goldfish style) with the beautiful mediterranean sea beating away (very close) on the edge of the runway. Beware, though, the drinks are not cheap!...but it's just stunning!! :)

There are cheaper food/drinks options on the arrivals floor (-1) should you need them!

Also many smoking areas (especially air-side)
