Home > Thomsonfly > 2005 > ReviewTaken January 2005 from Glasgow, Scotland (Abbotsichn) - GLA to Las Palmas/Gran Canaria, Canary Islands - LPAVery enjoyable flight from start to finish. New coloured 757 but old interior, should of been Britannia Airways, but the crew kept referring to the airline as Thomsonfly, return flight under Britannia. Left Glasgow 25 minutes early with a nice thank you from the Captain to the Dispatcher. Usual safety brief, probably my only nag was that when the cabin crew needed to point out the exits, the cabin crew member was behind the curtain quickly appeared pointed to her exits then returned behind the curtain and continued chatting - Didn't like that. In-flight service excellent!!! Drink usual charter cost, very pleased to see Britannia have removed aftershock - no need for this on a flight! The meal was excellent! Prawn salad to start, chicken in some creamy sauce with potatoes and veg, profiteroles for dessert, very very tasty! Well worth the extra £5.00 (one way) Good in-flight entertainment, up to-date film and good comedies, crew smiling and professional throughout. Leg room cannot complain (I'm 6ft4) yes slightly tight and for everyone else that moans, its been said before and once again - You are traveling on charter (maximum people its not BA first!) My only nag is the seat cushion not the most comfortable! All in all a great flight early departure and arrival great in-flight service would highly recommend! | ||
