I flew business class from Philadelphia to Milwaukee. The initial trip there was fine. The plane was on half full and on time. The fight crew were nice. the trip back to Philadelphia was not so good. They over booked the flight and were looking for people to take the next flight 2 hours later. The perk offered was a free flight anywhere USAir flew. I had an connecting fight in Philadelphia and knew I would probably not make it. (I had a one hour layover in Philly! We arrived 55 minutes late and I missed my connecting flight. I went to the US Air desk. They were able to book me a flight that left only one hour later! My connecting flight to Ottawa, was totally booked. There was not enough room for the suitcases, so we store some of them under the passengers seats. I was a extremely humid day. The air conditioning was not on while they moved the suitcases in side the plane. When I arrived at the airport in Ottawa my suitcases did not make it. A US Air official was there to help. He said my suitcases would be delivered to my home within 24 hours. The next morning they arrived. Despite a lot of problems, I felt they did a good job in helping me! |
