Taken February 2005 from Malaga (Pablo Ruiz Picasso) - AGP to London (Stansted) - STN
Britannia or Thomson Fly like all charters configure their seats to get maximum passengers on the flight - and that means it will be uncomfortable for anyone over 5'10" (a good percentage of the population) or anyone overweight (an increasing percentage of the population). I can live with that - you pay less and you get less. The real bore was the constant drip feeding of Tui/Thomson through the flight - it was constant drivel and not at all relaxing. The beauty of flying is you can switch off the mobile and switch off from the humdrum of daily life - but Britannia bombard you 'service' and information that you cannot wait to land and get some peace. Easyjet is wonderful - you get on, choose your seat - sit down and relax. That's what flying should be about - relaxing and catching up on the news or burying your head in a book - not the constant 'attention' of the crew and the incessant drivel from the TV monitors and PA system. |
