Home > Air Canada > 2005 > ReviewTaken March 2005 from Ottawa, ON (Macdonald-Cartier International Airport) - YOW to Calgary, AB (Calgary International Airport) - YYCFlight to Calgary was very full, however I arrived at the airport early and was able to secure a good seat. A hint for those of you flying on Air Canada Airbus 319s - choose seat 17A or 17F if in economy. There is no seat directly in front of you and the legroom is great! Electronic Check-in was a breeze (why do people still check-in with an agent?) and I passed through security very quickly despite carrying multiple pieces of electronic equipment. The flight boarded a little late and take-off was a little late as well. This was not a big deal since the time can usually be made up in the air. Breakfast was served, although it left something to be desired. I do not fly for the food! Entertainment was OK - I wish Air Canada would move to in-seat entertainment, however it was better than nothing. We arrived in Calgary on time and baggage arrived promptly. My skis were in baggage as well and they arrived safe and sound. Overall a good flight. | ||
