Taken January 2005 from London, England (Heathrow Airport) - LHR to Washington, DC (Washington Dulles International Airport) - IAD
This was the first long haul flight I had taken with British Airways for many years. I was impressed with the improved standard of service on board. Cabin crew were professional, but friendly and the main meal and snack were well presented and tasty. Flight was on time. Long check-in queues at Heathrow were avoided by using the self-service facility. Main negative aspect of the journey, which was outwith BA's control, was the 2 hours it took to get through immigration and customs on arrival at Dulles. |
