FLIGHT: LH 3605 VIE - STR, Dur: 1h10min, delayed by 45min.

GROUND SERVICE: Check-in in Vienna was carried out by Austrian: quick, efficient and polite service. Our flight was delayed by 45 minutes, but the Austrian gate staff and a Lufthansa representative kept us well informed.

AIRCRAFT: Canadairjet 700, modern, clean and well kept.

COMFORT: The flight was nearly full, but considering the short length of flight seat-comfort was OK with acceptable seat pitch.

CATERING: Economy Class only got a drink and a little pack of cookies which I found OK for this short. Generally I think that Lufthansa should offer a little more considering their fares and for a flight around dinner time at least a sandwich would have been appreciated. But still you get more than on Austrian flights where you have to pay for your drinks.

STAFF: They seemed to be quite tired at this time of the day (9pm) but still did a good job.

CONCLUSION: Altogether a smooth flight for an OK price, but rather poor catering.
