Taken March 2005 from San Francisco, CA (San Francisco International Airport) - SFO to Frankfurt (Rhein-Main) - FRA

I traveled with my wife. The check-in administrator said there is no window seats available. Then she said we can seat at window, but both of us, with 15 rows distance, and there are no more free seats in the airplane (circa 30 people were waiting behind us, the plane was severely overbooked).

In the plane, there were no personal displays, the ceiling TVs were all wrong with blue and red pictures (no other colors) but it was OK because we could not see them because we were seating under the TVs.

The entertainment program were outdated, the movies were in the cinemas at least 4 month earlier.

My earphone jack was wrong so I could not listen to music on this ~11,5 hour flying.

There was not enough food for the passengers, my wife asked the stewardess' for pasta, but had to eat the business class leftover. The fly attendant could not tell what the served meat really was. She said that is "meat from the forest". Somebody asked "Is that bear..?" Actually it was deer or elk. My wife is vegetarian...

After the lunch a young couple changed the seats beside my wife. They had a infant. The child-holder was ahead my wife, on the wall. The distance was around 0,5m...

The "fasten your seat belts" light was continuously lit. After 2 hours flying I wanted to go to see my wife. She hates the take-offs, the tight places, turbulences, etc, so I wanted to be with her. The stewardess was not really courteous when said "You must seat immediately. If she has any problem, she can call the attendant."
