Home > Astraeus > ReviewTaken December 2004 from London, England (Gatwick Airport) - LGW to Aqaba - AQJThis was my first trip both with this airline and the tour operator I used. I was expecting the usual charter airline with cramped seats, inadequate food and indifferent flight attendants. I couldn't have been more wrong! Firstly, the plane was a Boeing 757 with a very generous seat configuration. We worked out that leg room must have been 35 or 36 inches, which is more than for most scheduled airlines long-haul economy! Secondly, all the staff were friendly, attentive and didn't bother everyone too much with the hard sell of duty free. Thirdly, the food was some of the best I have had on a charter for a good few years being tasty, hot and in sufficient portions. Overall impressions from the two flights I took were very favourable. I have taken the marking scheme to be an absolute scale and hence have awarded pretty high marks, but not 10 out of 10 for everything (first class on Emirates etc might get 10 out of 10!!). | ||
