Qatar is a real delight to fly in the air, the problems come when you try dealing with their staff on the ground. It is like they train them in two different worlds, one full of smiles and genuinely 'taking you more personally' and the other 'I couldn't care less'.

I fly them a lot via the middle east, planes are not as modern as some Asian carriers, but the food is good, service excellent and in most cases Business is the capsule type semi flat beds, all cases in the A340's, 80% of cases on the A300's.

First is lie flat beds and the service is to die for, BMW picks you up from the bottom step, but alas inside the airport the same problems occur with ground staff.
