Home > CSA Czech Airlines > ReviewTaken March 2005 from Praha (Prague) (Ruzyne) - PRG to London, England (Heathrow Airport) - LHRI flew a return from Prague to London Heathrow with Czech Airlines in March. On the way there the flight was slightly delayed because of a problem with the assigned gate in the U.K., but it was a matter of a few minutes. On the return the plane touched down some twenty minutes ahead of schedule. Check-in at Prague airport was very quick and efficient; boarding was done in a whiz. Czech and international newspapers were offered upon boarding. On the outward flight the load factor was something around 60%, on the way back the plane was completely full. This didn't seem to pose a problem for the flight attendants who were extremely nice and helpful on both trips. Check-in at London was done by Air France, again without the slightest problem. The meals were very nice and I was surprised that I didn't get the dry sandwich that has become the norm on most European flights. A cold lunch/dinner was offered, accompanied with drinks, including acceptable wine, even in economy. Light and dark bread was offered several times to accompany the meal. Coffee and tea came around shortly before landing. CSA provides a very good service for very competitive prices. I try to fly them whenever I can as they seem to be one of the last airlines that still maintain something as a quality standard. Their frequent flyer program seems to be amongst the best in the Sky Team alliance. | ||
