My flight was MYT211 to Malaga on the 17/04/2005 - I'm writing from resort J

The experience on the ground was superb - I collected my tickets from the MyTravel desk in the exclusive check-in area at Terminal 1 at Manchester and went straight to check-in desk where although there was a long queue, I was checked in quickly. The check-in girl was very friendly and MyTravel even offer passengers a seat preference which I have never had before!

I went through to departures about an hour prior to take-off and the Gate number was displayed as 26 so of I went. On arrival I saw the MyTravel Airbus waiting. Almost as soon as I sat down we where being called for boarding on time at 15:25. So I went through and proceeded down to the door where I was greeted by the energetic, friendly and smart looking Purser who checked my boarding card and directed me to my seat. I was sat on Row 14, seat A just behind the exit. A Cabin Crew member that was stood in the middle of the cabin to direct people and assist and even offered to place my rather large bag in the luggage locker for me which was very helpful as I was struggling.

Soon enough, every one was seated and we pushed back at which point the safety demonstration was shown. We where soon enough airborne and the Cabin Crew began a bar service followed by head phones to watch the comedy and entertainment TV shows or listen to the radio channels.

After this the complimentary meal was served. First we where given a small box containing snacks and a starter. This was soon followed by the hot main course with a choice of Chicken or Shepherds Pie and a desert served with a bread roll and chocolates and then a complimentary Tea, Coffee or Juice service.

After this the Cabin Crew allowed us to rest before commencing Duty Free prior to descent.

The seating was comfortable and spacious and the seats where not too low or too high - just right with enough legroom to stretch your legs.

We soon landed in Malaga ahead of time and exited into the heat of the warm evening on the Costa Del Sol.

Overall, I rate MyTravel very highly and the service is faultless. The Crew are sincere, down to earth and friendly, the value for money offered is brilliant, the on-time performance is perfect and the you are not pestered to buy things as is the case on some airlines. Well done MyTravel and all your staff!
