Home > Aerolineas Argentinas > ReviewTaken April 2005 from Buenos Aires (Aeropuerto Internacional Ezeiza/Ministro Pistarini) - EZE to London, England (Gatwick Airport) - LGWPlanes: EZE-MAD B747-400 (LV-AXF) ; MAD-LGW B737-300 (EC-IZM operated by Air Plus Comet) ; LGW-MAD B737-300 (EC-IPS operated by Air Plus Comet) ; MAD-EZE B747-400 (LV-AXF) Cabin: very clean for the the AR B747s and quite modern environment; some amenities in the toilets. For the Air Plus B737s, the interiors show its age (specially in EC-IPS). Seats: very comfortable in AR B747-400s, with (really) lots of leg room (more than average). And the seat cushion was very comfy too. The leg room in the B737s was not so good, but the flight was about 2 hours only. Crew: Average. Professional. Meals: very good! Specially in the return flight MAD-EZE: there was a hot lunch (meat, salad, wines and beverages, bread and butter, and a piece of cake for dessert), a cold snack (Spanish ham, cheese, salad, more cakes, wines and beverages) and a drinks service before landing. There was an open bar during the complete flight in three different galleys, offering cold drinks and snacks. And tea and coffee were offered after each service. Well done! IFE: No private TV's: there were several TVs distributed by the aisles. Two movies (average) and some music channels that must be improved (mono audio in 2005!). Very good in-flight magazine. Punctuality: Just perfect. Conclusion: a good experience. MEM. | ||
