Home > Zoom > ReviewTaken May 2005 from Toronto, ON (Lester B. Pearson International Airport) - YYZ to Cardiff (Rhoose) - CWLZoom B767 Toronto- Cardiff May 2 2005 (first service) Having read reviews on Zoom, I had expected an excellent flight. Everything was OK, but nothing was outstanding. Service: Crew were good, especially compared to other Canadian carriers. Food was reasonable- great tasting and good quality, but very small portions. Premium Economy received the same tray as Economy with an extra hot dish choice. I had expected a slight difference even if it was just a bigger tray considering the increased price paid. Drinks, movies and a an amenity pack were complimentary. Timing: Flight departed 5 minutes early, but with a headwind and delays on the ground upon arriving in Cardiff it finally arrived over an hour late. No fault of Zoom. Comfort: Seats were regular width with extra legroom compared with Economy. Perfectly comfortable, but no comparison to the Premium Economy provided by similar carriers such as MyTravel and Thomas Cook who provide a much superior product for similar extra cost. Value: Not cheap (~$400) but convenient so I was happy with the price. I would not bother to upgrade to Premium Economy again with Zoom. I did not think the difference in service compared to Economy was worth the extra. | ||
