Home > EasyJet > 2005 > ReviewTaken May 2005 from Shannon - SNN to London, England (Gatwick Airport) - LGWPhoned easyjet's call center to book my flight, but was told that they don't book over the telephone anymore (unless it is 2 weeks prior to departure). Booked my ticket on easyjet.com. Ticket was very good value at under 40 Euros. Ticket confirmation was sent straight away. Arrived at check in in Shannon at check in open time, to find a long queue. Check in was not easyjet, but Servisair, and was very slow, over 40 minutes. Most of the staff seemed to be pretty new with all the new flights out of SNN. As I was in the slowest queue, I ended up in boarding area C. Went to the gate when again it was very congested, there were 5 flights departing around the same time (MAN, EMA, LGW, LTN, STN). Boarding for a free for all was a bit organised with boarding by group area. On the flight, the crew were friendly, managed to get a window seat three quarters of the way down the plane. Flight was nearly full. Crew, who were young and enthusiastic, welcomed us and did the safety briefing. Shortly after take off, the easyjet magazine was handed out and then the easykiosk with inflight snacks. I bought a tea and muffin for €3.60, which is not bad for an on board purchase. Captain gave us update before landing. Flight took off a little late (under 5 minutes) and landed on time. Overall great flight, comfortable seats, good in-flight selection, and a great crew. | ||
