Taken May 2005 from London, England (Gatwick Airport) - LGW to Sanford, FL (Central Florida Regional Airport) - SFB

Flew on the new Airbus A330 which was nice. Had seat-back TVs with a choice of 3 films and other entertainment. Both flights were great: outbound departed on time and took 9.5 hours, inbound departed on time and took 8.5 hours.

Seats were comfortable - I am 6ft and usually have trouble with seat pitch, but no issues here.

Outbound food was chicken and potato pie and inbound was cottage pie - food wasn't bad by airline standards although I think a small meal (hot main and desert) and a snack muffin is no where near enough for a 9.5 hour flight, especially taking into consideration the £15 per person that you have to pay to receive it.

Unfortunately just one real negative - the flight attendants and check in staff. Although not extended to all staff, overall the staff at MyTravel were totally unorganised, rude, unhelpful and made us and many other passengers feel like we were putting them out. On the outbound journey we had been in the air approximately 6 hours and had only been offered one drink around an hour after take-off. We asked 3 different attendants who all said they were busy doing something else and that they would come back to us. Finally we were told to go to the back of the plane where someone would be able to serve us. The attendant was so rude to us that we took her name and will be making an official complaint.

Overall, good, fairly comfortable flight for a budget airline - but need to send their staff on some 'people skills' training.
