Checked in at Gatwick, 2/1/2 hours before the flight. Check in desk was open for both Shannon & Cork early, as well as other destinations. Check in queue was long, but moved fast, was at the desk within 15 minutes.

Went through security in Gatwick where they now take a picture of you and then check it at the boarding area. Waited in the lounge for the flight to be called.

Flight was not called until 20 minutes before departure, and then when we arrived at the gate, the Cork flight (which was scheduled to leave 10 minutes after us) started boarding. About 5 minutes after the departure time, we started boarding. There was no break down as to check in zone, but the queue was orderly.

Boarded the flight and was welcomed, we began to taxi within 5 minutes of boarding.

Take off was smooth, flight crew then came around with the easyjet magazine and then the easy kiosk with food for sale. Opted for a cup of tea and a sandwich, which was nice (and the tea was drinkable). The price was not too bad at 4 pounds.

Flight was smooth with good views as there was little cloud.

Landed in Shannon about 10 minutes late, which is not bad. Went through security and had my bag within 15 minutes.

Overall a good flight, not many on it so it was comfortable. Even so, easyjet seat pitch and seat is not bad (I am over 6 foot). The easyjet magazine is a good read and the food on board is tasty and not overly priced.

The crew could not be faulted and did a great job. Good flight.
