Left the house at 7.00am in the car and arrived at the airport 10mins later, once I parked the car I preceded to Terminal 1 to check-in, my flight was checking-in on desks 8, 9, 10 and 11 for business class. Other flights that where checking in at this point where FlyBe - All Flights, FlyGlobespan - All Flights, Zoom - Toronto, Continental - New York, American Airlines to Chicago and many more. Check in was fast however before we got to the desk we where asked a lot of questions about the US Visas, thankfully ours was OK and we where aloud to fly however a woman in front of us was not so lucky and was taken away by a US Airways employee, don't know what happened to her with she got to fly or not. Once we had checked-in we proceeded up stairs to have out breakfast with a lot of Scotland fans occupying most of the bars in the airport. After about an hour exploring the shops and bars including spending over £100 in the Celtic store we preceded threw passport control to International departures. Once threw we seen the Scotland football team making there way to there gate to board there Excel Airways flight to Minsk.

Boarding commenced about 40minets before the scheduled time of departure and was done swiftly, the flight was pretty much full with only a few seats empty in economy. International departures was extremely busy with many other aircraft such as a MyTravel A330 going to Cancun, American 767 to Chicago, Continental 767 to New York, Monarch A330 to Orlando, First Choice 767 to Puerto Plata and many more. We pushed back from Gate 32 roughly 10mins before the scheduled departure time and took off bang on time.

After the climb out from Glasgow the routing took so over the northern coast of Ireland and out over the Atlantic at 38,000ft. In-flight entertainment was OK with cheesy American films and the Radio stations where not up to much. We where soon served breakfast which was very nice and for the first time too much to eat. A map of the world and our position came up on the TV screens in-between programs and there was also a very amusing TV advert that came on advertising if you think your partner is cheating on you call this number and they will follow then around.

After the 7 and a half hour flight we started our decent into Philadelphia, which was quick, and we flew straight in no holding patterns or anything to hold us up. Once we disembarked immigration Q seemed to go on forever, but when down quite quickly. We then proceeded to departures to get our connecting US Airways flight to Orlando that I will make a report on when I have more time.

Overall I would happily use US Airways again especially since according to flight attendants they will be upgrading from the 767 to the A330 on the Glasgow route. 10 out of 10 US Airways.
