Home > EasyJet > 2005 > ReviewTaken June 2005 from Glasgow, Scotland (Abbotsichn) - GLA to London, England (Luton Airport) - LTNI took the first flight of the day on a Sunday from Glasgow Int'l to Luton on one of their 737-700's with a Luton crew. I have no complaints about the flight itself, but the ground crew were less than impressive when the flight was delayed. Our flight was delayed, but the screens were not updated and no announcements were made, they simply did not call the flight for boarding. In fact, we were all waiting to board at our assigned gate and they called easyJet's flight to Bristol to board at that gate instead. Eventually, they announced that our flight was delayed due to late arrival of the inbound aircraft, but this was not until a good 10mins after our flight should have left. They then also announced that a wheelchair passenger on the incoming flight was waiting to be lifted out of the plane, but. Anyway, the flight left one hour late. The captain was very apologetic and even described the delay as "embarrassing". It seems they were late leaving Luton, then another aircraft was parked at their gate when they got to Glasgow, then they had to wait for an ambulance lift as Glasgow only has one. The captain and the crew could not have been nicer and everything else about the flight was great. I would say though that the ground crew were very unhelpful in not telling us about any delay until after we should have taken off and giving us NO information at any point about when we would be leaving. | ||
