Taken June 2005 from Glasgow, Scotland (Abbotsichn) - GLA to Larnaca - LCA

Flight was due to depart Glasgow at 07:55. We ended up being delayed for, at first, 25 minutes as the crew were short of 46 meals! Then we had to wait an extra 30 minutes as we could not get the cargo door shut. Then after almost 2 hours of waiting on the tarmac at Glasgow Airport, we finally departed for Larnaca.

Aircraft was a Boeing 737-800 and seemed very modern. Comfortable leather seats with loads of legroom. I'm 6ft2 and my feet just managed to touch the seat infront!!!

Entertainment was poor and audio channels didn't work. Personal headphones were a bit too costly at £2.00 compared with £1 on the likes of MyTravel etc.

On the way home, we were delayed for 40minutes as we were (yet again) short of 25 meals.

If Futura just focused on improving their timekeeping, then I think they would be an excellent airline! I am flying with them again in October to Tenerife.
