Taken May 2005 from Bangkok (Don Muang International Airport) - BKK to Surabaya (Juanda) - SUB

Being an airline pilot I travel a lot, Garuda, Indonesia was my first experience other than my own airline. Flew 4 sectors from Bangkok, Thailand to Singapore (change of aircraft) over to Surabaya, Indonesia, and back the same route. Traveled in a group of 6, 4 captains and 2 first officers.

1. The flight was on time.

2. They did let us off with lots of excess baggage may be because they saw we were from another airline. So airline to airline courtesy

3. Made a stop in Singapore and change of aircraft.

4. Flight from Singapore was on time as well.

5. Seats were comfortable.

6. Food was good. Didn’t feel like airline food at all.

7. Service was good by the cabin crew.

8. OK in flight entertainment, I can say that, better then my airline.

9. Though, they did show the wrong emergency demo video, instead of Boeing 737, they showed Airbus A330.

10. Seats were good, I should well maintained aircraft and cabin.

Overall, I will fly that airline again if given a chance; will also recommend it to people, who ask me for my opinion, all in all, thumbs up to Garuda.
