Taken July 2005 from Seoul (Kimpo) - SEL to Yeosu - RSU

Check in was quick and painless although you do have to wait at the check in desk until they have screened your hold luggage. Only then will they issue your boarding pass.

Gimpo Airport was very busy as this is the height of the holiday season. Our gate was right next to a delayed flight to Jeju Island and there was some confusion during boarding as a result, but it was all sorted out very quickly.

Bussed to the aircraft. Boarding was slow as the flight was completely full, possibly a result of the ongoing Asiana strike.

Seating on Korean Air is very comfortable, the 34 inch seat pitch seems to have been adopted on all their aircraft. I'm 6' 4" and had plenty of room.

Flight Attendants very friendly and welcoming, although the PA was fairly incomprehensible due to low volume.

The take off was delayed by 25 minutes which is almost nothing. Service was a very quick run from the drinks trolley as the flight is only 45 minutes and the crew couldn't get up from their jump-seats for quite a while due to turbulence. Perfectly adequate on such a short flight.

Disembarked swiftly at tiny Yeosu Airport and had my baggage within 2 minutes of leaving the aircraft.

Excellent service, would recommend both domestically and internationally.
