We only had a short delay before take off. We had a very new looking 737-800, with comfortable seats and more legroom that we have experienced before on a charter flight. We did not pay for pre-bookable seating, but we were all seated together in the centre of the aircraft. The cabin crew were very smart looking in nice modern denim uniforms and were very polite, the captain made a short announcement, although it was quite difficult to understand his accent! The safety announcement was made on the screens and we thought that it was very clear and easy to understand, and visible to everyone. We did not pay for food, although I purchased a coffee for £2.00 which was good, with biscuits and a chocolate. The in-flight magazine on Air Europa was all in Spanish and so we were unable to read it.

The flight was really good, although I feel that the in-flight entertainment did let it down. The first hour was some sort of Spanish clippits, including advertising (from what I watched of it) and then we had an old episode of Friends screened, which was great, but about 10 minutes into it, the captain announced that we were starting our descent into Palma, and so it was turned off! Landing was very smooth and the cabin crew were smiling and polite on exiting the aircraft.

We enjoyed flying with Air Europa and would not hesitate on using them again, although some form of English in-flight entertainment would make it even better. Saying that, it was such a short flight that it wasn't the end of the world, but I would have liked to see the whole of the Friends episode!
