Taken July 2005 from Palma to Southampton

This was the return journey of our holiday to Majorca.

We were a bit disappointed that we did not have the newer 737-800, this time it was an older 737-400, but the cabin was clean. We still had more legroom than we have ever had before, although it did not feel as comfortable as the outward flight, but no real problems.

Once again the cabin crew were smartly dressed, and the captain made a good announcement, but, once again, we couldn't understand hardly any of what he was saying!

The safety announcement this time was made by the cabin crew and not on the overhead screens. We plugged our headphones into the socket, but this time there was nothing to be found, not even music. Unlike our outward flight, there was nothing shown on the screens, and again, the in-flight magazines were in Spanish.

Cabin crew were very attentive to safety and I saw them show life jackets to the parents of small children, something I have never actually noticed before on a flight.

The flight was hardly late at all on taking off, and was uneventful, although it wasn't as comfortable as going out was. Once again, we were all seated together in the centre of the aircraft, even though we did not pay for pre-bookable seating. We chose not to pay for any refreshments. Landing was not the smoothest, but we were taken home safely. The cabin crew were very polite and smiling throughout the flight and on departing the aircraft.

We would not hesitate to fly with this airline again.
