Flew from Manchester - Rhodes on MON3978 on 27/7/05 on a Boeing 757 G-MONJ which for being 17 years old this aircraft was in a very good condition. It was clean and very well maintained.

We were delayed 15 minutes due to some passengers not showing up till final call. Once these were on we made our way to 06L for a smooth take off to Rhodes.

Service on board was average, cabin crew were friendly enough, except for a rather miserable looking blonde stewardess who clearly did't seem interested in her job. Entertainment was rather good, audio being very good while TV not as good.

Legroom was appalling, but it's what you get when you fly on a 757, and I am not going to moan because I love 757s.

Food was tasty, however Monarch seem to be cutting back a little bit with the portions and no bread roll's. Overall the flight was pretty aevrage, could of been a bit better with comfort and service, but apart from that Monarch are OK.
