Home > Aeroflot > ReviewTaken July 2005 from London, England (Heathrow Airport) - LHR to Moscow (Moskva), Moscow (Sheremetyevo 2) - SVOCheck-in is by Air France, with no smiles and no security questions. Once on-board the IL96, things got better. This aircraft as plenty of leg room, more than many airlines on long haul. But their is no entertainment system, so a good book is needed to pass the time. Hot towels are handed out, followed by a drinks service, and a hot meal. There is a choice of two options, including a veggie main course. My chicken and rice was much better than expected and had plenty of flavour. The crew were efficient, but like many Russians did not smile much. Arrival in Moscow ended with the aircraft being pushed backwards onto its parking stand, with many of the passengers standing up. Little effort being made to get them to sit down. Overall Aeroflot may not have the appeal of many airlines, but on this evidence their services to London are comfortable and good value. | ||
