Taken August 2005 from Manchester, England (Ringway International Airport) - MAN to Sharm El Sheikh (Ras Nasrani) - SSH

Air Atlanta have had their fair share of bad press about their service and punctuality in the British media which did make me and family nervous.

Our flight was on the 1st of August (peak summer holiday period) and we arrived into Gatwick at 09:30 to join what seemed like at least 300 people checking in for the flight. The staff at the check-in were fast and efficient giving us the seats we wanted.

Boarding began 15 minutes after our scheduled departure time and we finally took off 35 minutes late.

The aircraft (a B747) looked quite warn out, but I've seen worse. Legroom was lacking, but the seats were comfortable.

Lunch was served as we cruised at 40,000 feet over south-east France. The meal was nothing special and definitely not worth the extra £10 we paid for with our travel agency, but since it was a 5 hour flight we had

The one thing that really let me down were the cabin crew. They were only visible during the meal service and disappeared into the galleys after that.

We were able to make time in flight and arrived into Sharm El Sheikh's modern airport on time to begin a great 10 day holiday in the resort.

Overall Air Atlanta are decent, but nothing more. I wouldn't mind flying them again if there was no alternative.
