Taken August 2005 from Manchester, England (Ringway International Airport) - MAN to Arrecife, Canary Islands (Lanzarote) - ACE

I was some what a bit dubious flying with a 'foreign' airline, but I need not have worried. I found Futura to be a lot more professional than some other airlines I have flown with.

Flight was delayed by 20mins outbound due to a problem with the flight plans. Captain fully informed all passengers for the reason for the delay. Arrived into Lanzarote only 15mins late.

Outbound flight had leather seats and full inflight entertainment. Crew were very professional and friendly. Drinks were reasonably priced although it was cheaper to pay in Euro's. Only complaint was the inflight meal - very tiny portion of pasta with a cheese sauce, accompanied by a bread roll. There was no starter (eg. salad) or cheese and biscuits, but just a small chocolate desert. Crew promptly served hot drinks.

Return flight was a different aircraft with no leather seats or inflight entertainment. It was also 1 hour late leaving Lanzarote, but arrived only 20mins late into Manchester. Once again the crew were very friendly. Again the meal wasn't up to much - small portion of beef followed by a madeira cake and tea/coffee. This was the only complaint with the airline - the meal portions were the smallest I've ever encountered on an airline.

Despite the inflight meals, I was very impressed with Futura and I would not hesitate to fly with them again. Leg room was superb - a lot more than some airlines - very comfortable.
