Home > Aer Lingus > 2005 > ReviewTaken August 2005 from Dublin - DUB to London, England (Heathrow Airport) - LHRDub - LHR Monday 29th August. EI 152. Dublin Airport 5.00am, lovely and quiet. Having checked in with FastPass (and got my return boarding card there and then) I went through security very quickly indeed. There was just plenty time for a coffee (or two) in the Gold Circle lounge before boarding. It is only a short distance from the lounge to Pier B, which is a help at that unholy hour! On time departure, the flight deck kept us fully informed of progress, weather, etc. Cabin crew were as pleasant as ever, and I thoroughly enjoyed my hot breakfast (7 euro, including coffee). Very good value indeed. Amazingly, there was no air traffic control delays into Heathrow!! Surely a miracle, or could the UK Bank Holiday have played a part? Either was I was on the train to London shortly after 8.00am. Aer Lingus did themselves proud, well done. | ||
