I had read other reviews on this site before flying and I was a little worried. However, everything worked out well.

The take-offs were a little delayed both ways, but they seemed to make up time in the air and arrived on schedule.

The plane must have been old because it was a McDonald Douglas MD83 and they were taken over by Boeing in the 90's, However, it was smooth, comfortable and reasonably clean. I would not have noticed seat space being restricted if I had not read the other reviews here, the space was only slightly less than normal and I had no difficulty.

The staff all spoke good English and seemed to be mostly English and Irish nationality.

There was complimentary tea on board and I bought a sandwich for €3-50. The bread was fresh and tasty, and it was well filled. I thought it was good value.

My wife traveled with me and we were both very happy with the flight.
