Home > TAP Air Portugal > 2005 > ReviewTaken October 2005 from Lisboa (Lisbon) (Aeroporto da Portela de Sacavem) - LIS to Johannesburg (Jan Smuts Airport) - JNBThere was comfortable leg space in the Airbus A340. The crew is a little old and their appearance, in terms of grooming - hair and nails-, could be improved. They looked quite bored. The food was OK, but the bread was cold. My biggest complaint is that the cabin got really cold overnight; and the blankets are so thin. That made the flight a little uncomfortable for most of the night. I know of at least one other couple who asked the crew to lower the air conditioning, but our requests were met with little interest. The aircraft was clean, quiet and well maintained. I would suggest mixing the older, experienced crew with younger, more lively and enthusiastic crew members; and a cabin temperature at around 22 degrees Celsius. | ||
