It is such a shame that the poor seating lets down an otherwise enjoyable flight. The flight attendants were friendly and helpful, the in-flight entertainment was good, and both flights arrived on time.

The seating configuration is worse than British Airways and Virgin on this route. Not only does the seat pitch seem a lot smaller, but the seats are so narrow that it is impossible to eat without knocking your elbows into the person next to you.

Even though on this occasion South African were the cheapest option, I would have to say that next time I will pay the extra to go with BA or Virgin.
