Home > Monarch > 2005 > ReviewTaken September 2005 from Kos, Kos Island - KGS to London, England (Gatwick Airport) - LGWFlight was MON1739 - operated by a Boeing 757-200 aircraft - G-MONJ. The aircraft was clean and quiet. From seat 4A at the front of the aircraft, I watched admirably as the purser assisted several passengers with seating problems, and dealt well with a passenger who required oxygen during the flight. She was friendly, professional and achieved what was required with no difficulty. Many smiles and totally unflappable to any request which was made. The whole crew were friendly and kept a presence in the cabin for the duration of the flight. The flight deck regularly kept us informed of our progress and routing. The in-flight service was spread out nicely, without ever feeling rushed o finish your food. Departure was delayed by 20 minutes, and the flight (a total of 3h 57 minutes) was smooth apart from some short patches of light turbulence. The flight arrived in Gatwick only about 15 minutes behind schedule. For a charter flight, the service was great. I hadn't flown Monarch for 10 years and would happily do so again. | ||
