Home > Air Canada Jazz > ReviewTaken January 2005 from Calgary, AB (Calgary International Airport) - YYC to Edmonton, AB (Edmonton International Airport) - YEGFor such a short flight, Air Canada Jazz managed to leave me with a very bitter taste in my mouth. First of all, the planes that they use on this route (this time, a DH3) are ancient. They are not in the slightest bit comfortable; the seats are in desperate need of recushioning. Furthermore, the whole plane shakes once the propellers start working. It makes for a very long 40 minute flight. As for service, the flight attendant does not speak. As there is only one flight attendant, everything is pre-recorded. I find this quite impersonal. Of course, not quite as impersonal as running down the aisles serving the juice that she had to, then promptly running back to the front to hide behind her curtain. It seemed as if facing the passengers for the entire 45 minutes was just too much for this flight attendant. We didn't receive a single word from the flight deck either. The flight was purchased at a seat-sale fare, so the price wasn't too bad. The flight was also 20 minutes late, but I can forgive minor tardiness. If the service isn't there, however, and the planes are about to fall apart, then I'm afraid my business will go elsewhere. | ||
