Taken April 2001 from Chicago to Birmingham, Alabama

This is a United Express service and they use the 50 seat Canadair regional jet. Both ways the plane was full, making it feel uncomfortably claustrophobic. Seats were narrower than usual economy and less pitch.

Meal both ways was a box with stale sandwich, bag of potato chips and a bite-size chocolate bar.

Early arrival outbound; 15 minutes late coming back.
