While planning my trip, I thought I would include a side trip to the Continent and decided to visit Budapest. Prior to emigrating some 6 years ago, I travelled frequently with EasyJet, usually to Amsterdam, and was curious on how they might have changed, so I booked with them. Firstly they were excellent value, two return tickets (booked well ahead) came to GBP65. Checking in was very good, despite us travelling on a holiday weekend when half of England seems to be checking in. Passengers were sorted into groups depending on when they checked in, and boarding was efficiently done on a first come first served basis. Take off was so prompt I could have set my watch by it, and the service, drinks and snacks available for purchase, were pretty good. In a flight that took a little over two hours, the flight crew did three or four rounds, also (should you feel the need) duty free was available. The return flight was equally good. All in all, I was very impressed by EasyJet, and will travel with them again next time I am in Europe for a holiday. | ||
