Taken October 2005 from London, England (Gatwick Airport) - LGW to Tenerife, Canary Islands - TCI

Gatwick to Tenerife 28 Oct. When we booked, our flight was timed at 2040 hours. this was a ticketless flight and when we arrived at Gatwick at around 1700 hours we checked in and got our boarding passes. We kept a constant check on the departure information screens and noted that our flight was scheduled to leave at 2040 hours. As 2040 hours got nearer and nearer and a boarding gate had not been allocated, I contacted the information desk to enquire about our flight. I was told that the flight was not going until 2140 hours because the flight time had been allocated for GMT which did not come into effect until 0200 hours Sunday 30 Oct. Plane was Airbus (plenty of legroom) meal OK (although 8 short and volunteers asked to go without meal for a free dink and £6 voucher), service OK. Return flight not good, plane was 757 very little leg room and should not be used for a 4+ hour flights. Sat in front rows out and back and wonder who the overhead lockers are for, obviously the crew, video player and oxygen cylinders as hand luggage ended up at least the fourth overhead locker back. Good check in, boarding and luggage collection both out and back. Would fly with First Choice again, but they should keep the 757 off of the Tenerife route.
