Taken September 1999 from Ibiza to London Gatwick

Even by charter standards, this was appalling. The flight was delayed, as the incoming flight was later. Our delay kept increasing, and then all the airline staff went home, leaving 1 person on the desk who didn't speak English! We were simply left in a hot terminal overnight without even being provided with drinking water. Eventually we were provided with breakfast, which consisted of soggy bacon and toast and still nothing to drink.

We had previously been assured by the local staff that a replacement plane was being chartered to take us home, but this turned out to be a complete lie as eventually a Britannia jet turned up. We eventually took off over 7 hours late, and our "compensation" consisted of 1 free drink! We'd had a bad holiday anyway thanks to JMC, but this was the icing on the cake. I will never intentionally fly Britannia or use JMC ever again.
