Home > Jet Airways > ReviewTaken November 2005 from Madras (Meenambakkam) - MAA to Cochin - COKNovember 23rd, 2005, 0600 a.m. Chennai airport resembles a bus stand nowadays. Lots of airlines, especially the low cost type operating flights, and their ground staff crowd at the entrance to direct many first time passengers who haven’t a clue as to how to board a flight. Quick security checks. A propeller plane (ATR). A bit of a noisy ride, but flew low enough to figure out and enjoy the landscape below. The flight took an hour and 50 minutes and the crew were extremely smart. Served a clutch of mini (really tiny) idlis, and sambhar, bread, jam and butter, with a tetrapak juice cartoon. Flight was comfortable and very clean. Annoying drone from the propellers. Given a cold towel to freshen up, but not many really required it as South Indian is extremely pleasant now after a long spell of heavy rain. Towards the end of the flight, it was a bit bumpy as there was thick cloud cover. Flight absolutely on time. | ||
