Home > US Airways > 2005 > ReviewTaken November 2005 from London, England (Gatwick Airport) - LGW to Philadelphia, PA (Philadelphia International Airport) - PHLI was flying to Miami via Philadelphia, boarding started 45 minutes before scheduled departure, the aircraft was quite an old Boeing 767-200. I asked at check-in for an aisle seat on both sectors, with a 2-5-2 seat configuration I was disappointed to find I was seated right in the middle row and again on the second flight I was not given an aisle seat. Flight departed on time, drinks were offered at $5 for a beer or wine but was surprised when asked to pay $5 for a headset on all transatlantic I have flown these were given out free. Food was quite good with either beef or chicken being offered and service from the flight attendants was friendly and efficient. Disappointed there were no seat back TVs and only a main screen in the cabin this made the choice of movies rather poor and I found the choice of music channels very limited to. I would fly US Airways again, but if I found a cheaper price on another US airline I would probably take it. | ||
