The absence of in-flight entertainment certainly requires a couple of books or movies.

The food was good and the service quick. I also noted the lack of smiles although one flight attendant on the Hong Kong to Moscow leg (JB) was superb.

The worst experience was at the check-in counter in Hong Kong. I had to jettison 20 kg of food and clothing since the supervisor insisted I pay for excess baggage on what was a half empty plane!

Otherwise an interesting experience.
