Taken November 2005 from Shannon - SNN to Buenos Aires (Aeropuerto Internacional Ezeiza/Ministro Pistarini) - EZE

Checked fares on line for my trip to Buenos Aires, BA offered great fares and good trip times. Rang BA's reservation centre and got an even cheaper quote than the Internet, plus got to talk to a human.

Check in at Shannon was a breeze with Aer Lingus checking me in all the way. Flight on Aer Lingus was friendly, comfortable and on time.

Transit through Heathrow quickly, which was great, got the bus to terminal 4 with no problems. Only had 2 hours to get there and enjoy the shops.

Boarding was quick and friendly with a very friendly gate agent greeting every one in their own language (English, Spanish and Portuguese). Welcomed on board by a friendly crew.

First impression of BA was great, seat back TV’s, comfortable seats and leg room.

Flight crew very friendly and profession as they went through there pre departure briefing. Night flights out of London are great as they have great views of the city and this was no exception. Flight departed on time.

Soon after take off the in-flight entertainment system began, with several good movies and shows, we were spoilt for choice. Only down side is the movies play on a loop so you have to wait until they start again, otherwise you join midway through the movie.

In each seat was a small little amenity pack (which as I learned from other people on my tour is a rarity in economy!). Full bar service with in 30 minutes of take off, including wine for dinner. Dinner was enjoyable with warm bread rolls.

Watched one more movie before catching some sleep, drinks and snacks laid out at the bulkheads for people to help them selves. Managed to get 6 hours sleep on the flight.

Woke up and enjoyed another movie with an all day deli breakfast, which was a croissant with cheese and ham, with fruit and yoghurt, plus drinks.

Landed ahead of schedule in Sao Paulo. Not allowed off the plane in Brazil, but able to get up and walk about.

Flight departed on time from Sao Paulo, movies were turned on again for the two hour trip to Buenos Aires. Another all day deli snack served, which was great, plus a full bar service again. Crew were again very informative and friendly.

Landed on time in Buenos Aires, ground staff helpful and my bag arrived.

Overall great trip, even the stop over in Sao Paulo is not bad, good entertainment, good food and friendly crew, great job overall.
