Home > Delta > 2005 > ReviewTaken January 2005 from Orlando, FL (Orlando International Airport) - MCO to Atlanta, GA (The William B. Hartsfield Atlanta International Airport) - ATLI used to always think of Delta as an average airline. After I flew Newark-Cincinnati, Cincinnati-Orlando, and A return through Atlanta, I decided that I would never fly them again. What really pushed me over is waking up at the break of dawn to catch a plane to atlanta connecting back to Newark. I am not sure why we got stuck on the first flight out, but it was ridiculous. In addition, Delta put us in the last row of a 767-300, row 47! There was no window, only a lavatory beside us. We were the first to depart on the runway, but the captain said we would be entering some weather as we would land in ATL. As promised, we did. Upon decent we entered heavy turbulence as we landed in the middle of a thunderstorm that made the dishes crash and people started to get extremely uneasy (myself and my sister included) We were shaking left to right as we had a very rough landing. The 767-300 was very old, with worn seats and old style overhead bins. Food? I would not expect any, it was just a granola bar and a coke for me. Delta Sucked. I will never fly them again after almost crashing. I'm sticking with CO and AA with air travel in the future. | ||
