Home > Air Canada > 2005 > ReviewTaken 2005 from Toronto, ON (Lester B. Pearson International Airport) - YYZ to Las Vegas, NV (McCarran International Airport) - LASFriendly attentive staff with most often a very offical and accommodating attitude. The seats in most of the older planes are very uncomfortable for longer flights and the seats do not often accommodate my 6'3" height (leg room is severly restricted). Always on time and rarely oversold like the American counter parts. Very good rewards program being part of the Star Alliance group of companies. Really the only unfortunate part of Air Canada is that it flies out of Toronto which is the second most expensive airport to fly out of, second only to the new airport in Japan. An average ticket has an average of 40% in taxes, duties and add-on charges for most flights. I am a business traveler and an Aeroplan member and enjoy the service they provide, but for budget minded companies, fly out of Buffalo the price reduces usually by 50-60% with a simple 2 hour drive from Toronto and the most resonable, long term parking rates you will ever see at an airport. | ||
