Home > Aeroflot > ReviewTaken December 2005 from Istanbul (Ataturk/Yesilkov International Airport) - IST to Moscow (Moskva), Moscow (Sheremetyevo 2) - SVOAlthough the flights were all on time, my general experience on the plane was dismal. The plane itself was a 1970's model that probably has never gone through a make over. It was old, dirty and just plain unpleasant. The flight attendant, with her flaming orange lipstick, never once cracked a smile or any other sort of expression other than her stern disappointment in having to work. Although we experienced very little turbulence, I never felt at ease. All the restrooms were in the back of the plane and it was my impression that every single passenger used them at least 2 times each as there was a constant line in the aisle waiting. Once the plane took off I immediately put my head down and went to sleep as I just wanted my flight experience to end. The flight attendant came by with the meal serve and shook me awake to give me food, I declined and tried to get back to sleep. Once the plane landed, the flight attendant gathered her belongings and hurried to the front of the plane. While still taxiing, many of the passengers got up to retrieve their belongings from the overhead bins. At one time when the plane made a sudden stop, one passenger fell forward landing on at least 4 other passengers. There is no concern for safety on these flights. I've used Lot Polish airlines into Moscow in the past and had a fine experience then. I will never use Aeroflot again. | ||
