Taken December 2005 from New York, NY (John F. Kennedy International Airport) - JFK to London, England (Heathrow Airport) - LHR
Took Virgin-Atlantic from JFK to LHR for a short holiday, and both flights were excellent. I have never flown on Virgin in the past due to the price of their fares, but I took advantage of a last minute fare offer. On the outward trip flight left on time and arrived on time as well. Flight attendants were very friendly and helpful. Having the option of three meals in economy class was heavenly, and the in-flight entertainment options was amazing, over 40 choices. Outbound flight left LHR late due to de-icing, but arrived at JFK on time. Flight services were also late on the outbound flight, but that was because of very heavy turbulence. All in all, a great time on Virgin-Atlantic, and I would highly recommend them in the future. |
